Mr. Philip Thrupp has obtained the Licentiate Teachers' Diplomas of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA): U.K. and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama: U.K.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He had been trained at the Exeter College of Art and the Hartly Hodder Studio and has taught Speech and Drama to pupils of all ages and Public Speaking to adults.

Mr. Philip Thrupp is the Chief Adjudicator of the Voice Over Festival of Performing Arts. He has been the tutor of Voice and Speech at Wesley College, Bristol and regularly adjudicates at festivals in the British Isles, Ireland and the Channel Islands. In1996, for his outstanding achievements and the valuable contribution made in the field of Communication Studies, he was awarded Honorary Fellowship FIEMS by the IEMS Examinations Sri Lanka.

Presently, he is an examiner for Trinity Guildhall Examinations. Mr. Thrupp was one of the team of adjudicators chosen for the International British Federation of Festivals at Warwick.
